Usage & Limits
Manage subscriptions, invoices, and usage.
Kantos tracks usage across several metrics to ensure fair resource allocation. Monitor your usage from the billing dashboard and receive warnings as you approach limits.
Tracked Metrics
| Metric | Description | Reset |
|---|---|---|
| Automation runs | Number of automation rule executions per month | Monthly |
| Emails sent | Outbound emails sent through automations and manual sends | Monthly |
| AI interactions | Messages exchanged with AI assistants | Monthly |
| Storage | Total file storage consumed by media attachments and knowledge bases | Does not reset |
Storage Limits
| Resource | Trial / Free | Paid Plans |
|---|---|---|
| File upload size | 5 MB per file | 50 MB per file |
| Vector storage (Knowledge Base) | 20 MB | 1 GB |
| Site storage (Media) | 500 MB | 5 GB |
Monitoring Usage
View your current usage from Settings → Billing. The dashboard shows each metric as a progress bar with the current count and plan limit.
Near-Limit Warnings
When any metric reaches 80% of its plan limit, Kantos displays a warning banner in the dashboard. This gives you time to either reduce usage or upgrade your plan before hitting the cap.
Exceeding Limits
Kantos uses soft limits. When a metric is exceeded:
- Automations — new automation runs are paused until the next billing cycle or an upgrade
- Emails — email sending is paused
- AI interactions — assistant responses are paused
- Storage — new file uploads are blocked until storage is freed or the plan is upgraded
No data loss
Exceeding a limit never deletes or modifies your existing data. It only prevents new operations for that metric until usage resets or you upgrade.
Billing Cycle Reset
Monthly metrics (automation runs, emails sent, AI interactions) reset to zero at the start of each billing period. Storage usage is cumulative and does not reset.
